3 New Soybean Herbicides: What You Need to Know

Enversa™ Herbicide
“Enversa herbicide is a proprietary residual herbicide formulation with encapsulated acetochlor — a Group 15 active ingredient — that drives directly to the soil for excellent weed control throughout the growing season,” says Drake Robards, U.S. product manager, soybean herbicides, Corteva Agriscience. “This is the first soybean — and cotton — herbicide solution in the Corteva Agriscience portfolio to feature encapsulated acetochlor.”

Sonic® Boom Herbicide
Preventing the establishment of nutrient-robbing weeds requires a dependable, field-tested preemergence herbicide.
“Sonic Boom is a foundational herbicide and a robust tank-mix partner,” Robards says. “It not only enables your customers to achieve early season weed control across a wide range of agronomic programs, but it also delivers efficacy on Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and kochia.”
With two proven active ingredients — metribuzin and sulfentrazone — and long-lasting residual activity, this liquid premix preemergence herbicide can keep soybeans free of more than 35 weeds for maximum yield potential.

With three proven modes of action, and tank mix flexibility, Kyber Pro herbicide offers a comprehensive preemergence weed control solution on more than 50 broadleaf and grass weeds.
“As production agriculture continues to battle ALS- and PPO-resistant weeds like Palmer amaranth and waterhemp, Kyber Pro herbicide will deliver up to six weeks of residual activity — and even more in the right conditions — to prevent weed competition from interfering with young soybeans during their important early growth stage when yield potential is established,” Robards says.
