For Agronomy Center Manager Dillon Timm, finding new herbicides that help overcome farmers’ weed control challenges is a key part of the job.

“The top factors are price, flexibility and weed control,” Timm says. He works closely with his Corteva Agriscience territory manager Jordan Hauck to trial the latest products before recommending them to customers.

Hauck recently recommended testing Resicore® REV corn herbicide, an advanced premix of three proven active ingredients for premier control of the toughest broadleaf and grass weeds.

“We’ve been seeing more waterhemp resistance in Iowa, so it’s important to have a well-rounded herbicide program and use multiple modes of action,” Hauck explains. “Resicore REV offers that.”

Resicore REV has three strong, proven modes of action in clopyralid, mesotrione and acetochlor for powerful control of more than 75 tough broadleaf and grass weeds, including resistant varieties like Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and marestail. Plus, Resicore REV has long-lasting residual up to eight weeks.

Timm says that customers also will appreciate the tank-mix compatibility that Resicore REV offers.

“Greater tank-mix compatibility benefits farmers by allowing them to add different tank-mix options to their spray orders, so they can use different modes of action,” he says. “I was very excited to partner with Corteva on trying this new product.”
