You may have questions about the newest biological on the market, and we have answers. Get the scoop on Utrisha® P here.
Utrisha P is the latest biological offering from Corteva Agriscience. Once applied, Utrisha P colonizes within the crop root zone, which improves phosphorous access and reach throughout the growing season. This solution will increase the return on your phosphorus fertilizer investment by improving below-ground phosphorus availability.
“Phosphorus is an essential nutrient that can be difficult for plants to take up on their own,” said Brandon Emery, U.S. product manager, biologicals, Corteva Agriscience. “Not only does Utrisha P stimulate mobilization of phosphorus in the soil — helping crops take up the nutrient — the new biological also increases crop root growth for better access to other nutrients and water for enhanced plant health and higher grain production.”
Utrisha P will complement most crop management programs. The new solution is formulated as a user-friendly liquid product with a low use rate, tank-mix flexibility, practical storage requirements, and use on a wide range of crops, including: row crops such as corn, soybeans and wheat; and specialty crops such as potatoes, strawberries and tomatoes.
Utrisha P is effective with a low use rate of 3.5 ounces per acre and can be applied in several ways, including with fertilizers on the planter or at sidedress with UAN. This allows for ease of use with other at-plant product options. Utrisha P also contains bacterial spores to improve tank-mix compatibility and shelf stability.
Utrisha P is available in limited supply for the 2023 growing season and will be more widely available in 2024. Talk with your local retailer or Corteva Agriscience representative to find out when Utrisha P will be available in your area.
