A reduced risk pesticide, it is extremely well tolerated by bermudagrass and provides exceptional control of herbicide resistant English lawn daisy and white clover.

  • Application Rate

    Apply Sapphire® specialty herbicide to turfgrass at the rate of 0.25 to 1.5 pts./A as a ground broadcast treatment or spot treatment.

  • Application Timing

    Best weed control results are obtained when Sapphire is applied to small, actively growing weeds.

  • Application Method

    Apply in a spray volume of more than 20 gallons per acre (0.5 gallons or more per 1000 square feet). Use a higher application volume when complete and uniform application must be ensured, i.e., when Sapphire is tank-mixed with foliar fertilizers.

  • Approved Use

    Sapphire is labeled for use on the following cool-season turfgrasses, bentgrass; bluegrass (Kentucky); fescue (chewing, creeping red, sheep and tall); ryegrass (perennial). It is also labeled for use on warm-season turfgrasses including bermudagrass, fescue (tall), kikuyugrass and zoysiagrass. It can be used on golf courses, sports fields, residential turf, sod farms and commercial turf.
