Crew® specialty herbicide combines the power and proven safety of Dimension® and Gallery® specialty herbicides to offer a 2-in-1 solution for turfgrasses and landscape beds. Crew is safe to use on warm- and cool-season turfgrasses and over the top of more than 410 ornamentals.
Combining the power of two active ingredients ― dithiopyr and isoxaben ― using Verge granule technology, Crew® specialty herbicide is an easy-to-use preemergence granule solution for turfgrass and landscape bed needs.
Crew specialty herbicide provides broad-spectrum preemergence control of more than 120 grassy and broadleaf weeds, including chickweed, clover, crabgrass, dandelion, goosegrass, mallow (common), Poa annua, oxalis and spurge.
Crew specialty herbicide can be applied to a variety of plants, including more than 410 ornamentals in landscape beds. It also can be applied on most turf types ― including cool- and warm-season turfgrasses.
Formulated for use in landscape beds and on turfgrasses, Crew specialty herbicide is an ultra-low dust granule that is nonstaining. Additionally, it has a low odor while lasting up to five months ― making it a versatile solution even for the toughest weeds.

Isoxaben; dithiopyr
For cool- and warm-season turfgrasses, apply Crew specialty herbicide at a rate of 150 to 200 pounds per acre (3.44 to 4.59 pounds per 1,000 square feet) prior to weed seed germination.
For application in landscape beds, apply at a rate of 150 pounds per acre (3.44 pounds per 1,000 square feet).
For cool- and warm-season turfgrasses, apply Crew specialty herbicide prior to weed seed germination. For postemergence crabgrass control, apply the recommended rate prior to the five-leaf growth stage or first tiller. Sequential applications may be used at five to 10 weeks apart to provide improved weed control or to extend weed control in areas with long growing seasons.
For applications in landscape beds, apply Crew prior to weed seed germination in early spring or fall when the landscape beds or soil surface are free of weeds and plant debris. Water-in treated areas within 21 days of application if rainfall is not expected. Repeat applications, if necessary, at a three-month interval to optimize residual control.
Crew specialty herbicide is a preemergence granular herbicide that uses Verge granule technology.
Crew specialty herbicide can be applied on a variety of plants, including more than 410 ornamentals in landscape beds and on most turf types ― including cool- and warm-season turfgrass ― with the exception of Colonial bentgrass and some fine fescue varieties. Labeled use sites include landscape ornamentals; residential turf; commercial turf; golf courses (fairways, roughs, aprons and tee boxes); sports turf; campgrounds, parks and recreation areas; cemeteries; and unimproved turfgrass areas.
