Meet Andrew McCrea, McCrea Family Farms, Maysville, Missouri

Andrew McCrea is an author, speaker and host of Farm Journal’s American Countryside radio program. Andrew runs a fifth-generation crop and stocker cattle operation with his dad, M.L., and 16-year-old son, Luke, on about 4,500 acres. The McCreas have relied on Range & Pasture products from Corteva Agriscience and its legacy companies for more than 30 years.

When Pastures Get Top Billing, Bigger Gains Follow

McCrea Family Farms relies on year-round, high-quality grazing for efficient gains in their stocker operation. A pasture-first focus is critical to their success — regardless of season or time of year.

Spring Means Fresh Perspective

Andrew McCrea believes that pastureland demands frequent scouting and fine-tuning management strategies throughout the growing season to reach its full potential — just like a growing crop.
