Pfister® to Join NuTech® Forming Larger Regional Brand

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Pfister Seeds is combining with NuTech Seed, and NuTech will become the main regional brand in the Central Corn Belt for Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont.
NuTech Seed will now be headquartered in Champaign, Illinois, in Pfister’s former office. The new team will also be strengthened with several Central Corn Belt seed professionals who will join NuTech from Dairyland Seed®, Seed Consultants® and Prairie Brand®. The change is part of the newly announced Corteva Agriscience™ multi-channel, multi-brand seed strategy for the U.S., which will expand access to the company’s genetics, technology and traits.
Brad Damery, who previously led Pfister Seeds, will now serve as the General Manager of NuTech Seed. Damery sees the change as a way to strengthen company focus. “What excites me the most about this opportunity is bringing our customers a stronger product portfolio, more choices and a whole set of new solutions,” Damery said.
Popular Pfister Seeds’ products will continue to be available through NuTech Seed. “Having an expanded product portfolio enhances the lifestyle that so many customers appreciate,” said Damery. “We have a saying around here: ‘Have you seen the corn today?’ It’s a reminder of how lucky we are to be involved in production agriculture.
